In the first half of 2021, Sinopec International Business Co., Ltd. was commissioned by China South Korea (Wuhan) Petrochemical Co., Ltd. to conduct an open bidding for the vacuum pump required for the dry vacuum pump of the aromatics extraction unit of China South Korea Petrochemical (Chemical). VPS company's dry screw pump products have successfully won the bid with good corporate reputation, rich case experience, and excellent product quality.

China South Korea (Wuhan) Petrochemical Co., Ltd. is a joint venture established by Sinopec Group and SK Corporation of South Korea. In 2013, the joint venture company jointly constructed and operated the Wuhan ethylene project. From January to November 2017, Sinopec China and South Korea achieved a profit of 3.379 billion yuan and paid 1.909 billion yuan in taxes, achieving the annual efficiency target set by the headquarters two months ahead of schedule.

In recent years, Sinopec Group will invest billions of yuan in Wuhan to carry out refining structure adjustment, ethylene debottleneck transformation, and build a new national hazardous chemical emergency rescue base to promote enterprise transformation and upgrading, and promote clean production. An additional 200 million yuan will be invested in the construction of a national hazardous chemical emergency rescue base.
